Visitor Complex

The Selai Visitor Complex is a self-contained area where the park office, cafeteria, indoor hall, chalets, dormitories and surau are located. The cafeteria serves freshly cooked local fare every day of the week, and can prepare packed meals upon request.

Lubuk Tapah

Just a short walk from the complex is Lubok Tapah, a serene spot by the river facing the forest proper. You can sleep at the quaint “jungle huts” here, with soothing lull of the river in the background. Facilities at Lubuk Tapah include a communal kitchen, dining area, common bathrooms and surau hut. Remember to bring your own stoves, pots, cutlery, ingredients if you plan to cook.

Lubuk Merekek Campsite

Lubok Merekek is located on a bend of the Selai river, just a 10-minute walk from the Visitor Complex. The campsite, which can accommodate 200 people, has a soft, sandy ground that assures a comfortable night’s sleep as well as a clear view of the stars above. The site is also equipped with a communal kitchen, dining area, bathrooms and surau hut. Note that you will need to bring your own tent, sleeping bag and any other camping equipment necessary.
