Speedboats to the islands depart from the Mersing or the Tanjung Leman jetties, depending on which islands you are going. The Mersing jetty is located right in Mersing town, whereas the Tanjung Leman jetty is located just over an hour’s drive south of Mersing.

Boats heading to the islands in the north (including Pulau Aur, Pulau Pemanggil, Pulau Rawa, Pulau Tengah and Pulau Besar) depart from the Mersing jetty, while boats heading to Pulau Tinggi and Pulau Sibu depart from the Tanjung Leman jetty.

Each resort operator provides boat transfers to their respective resorts, so make sure to arrange for your accommodation and boat transfer beforehand. At present, ferry service is only available from the Mersing jetty to Pulau Aur.
