Pulau Kukup
Mainland Kukup encompasses three thriving fishing villages (Kukup Laut, Air Masin and Kampung Melayu) that are famous for seafood restaurants, local belacan and cage culture fish farms. While there is no palace for overnight in the park, a growing number of traditional stilt houses on the mainland have been converted into boutique hotels. There is a terminal and immigration checkpoint for ferries to Batam and Tanjung Balai (Karimun island) in Indonesia.
Upon arrival, you may drop by the park office in Kukup town to book a boat to the island as well as view the information gallery there. The office is located along the road to the ferry terminal. The small jetty for Pulau Kukup is located on the right side of the terminal.
